William E. Hughes has been appointed senior vice president and managing director of Mason-McDuffie Financial Corp.’s Southern California regional office in Newport Beach. He will oversee all production activities, investor relations and the formation of joint ventures in Southern California for the commercial real estate mortgage investment company. Hughes was formerly regional manager of real estate investment banking for Lomas Financial Corp.
