Bus With Mecca Pilgrims Hits Truck; 22 Killed

CAIRO —
A passenger bus carrying Muslim pilgrims collided with a truck, killing 22 people and injuring at least 16, sources and newspaper reports said.
The bus was en route with 60 passengers to Cairo’s airport from Beni Suef, 75 miles south of the capital. Some of the passengers were to fly to Saudi Arabia for the annual Muslim pilgrimage at Mecca.
