Steelmaker Armco Inc. of Parsippany, N.J., will take a second-quarter charge of $70 million to cover phase-out of several finance and insurance units, a $20-million breach-of-contract verdict against it and a $15-million federal tax assessment . . . About 850 Marshall Field & Co. central organization employees will receive termination notices within the next six months, the department store division of Dayton Hudson Corp. said. None of Field’s 13,000 store and supporting services employees will be affected by the firings, Dayton said.
