Every blanket, every gauze bandage, every can of provisions that the government of Iran accepts from the United States, England and the other countries Iranian officials condemn (and terrorize) as agents of the Great Satan should be imprinted not with the traditional Red Cross but with two other words: Salman Rushdie.
