Tom Allen has been named executive vice president of Advanced Interventional Systems, an Irvine-based developer of laser systems for cardiovascular applications. Prior to joining the company, Allen was vice president, sales and marketing for the Edwards Critical Care division of Baxter Corp. Before that, he was general manager and vice president of Marquette Electronics’ monitoring division.
