WORLD : Joint German Elections Slated

The two Germanys have agreed to hold joint elections Dec. 2, clearing the way for unification before the end of the year, a West German government source said today.
The source, close to Chancellor Helmut Kohl, said the West German leader had accepted the date agreed to Monday night by East Germany’s coalition leaders for the first free all-German elections since 1932.
