The five-week program will be run by Los Angeles Unified School District counselors and psychologists. Cultural differences, gangs, health care and community services available to immigrants are among the topics to be discussed in weekly two-hour sessions.

On the Westside, the program will be held at Gardner Street School, 7450 Hawthorn Ave., Hollywood. Armenian, Russian, Spanish and Korean interpretation will be available. Parents do not need to register to participate.
