World IN BRIEF : ISRAEL : Policeman Stabbed in Walled Old City

An Israeli policeman was seriously wounded after being stabbed in the back by an unidentified assailant near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem’s walled Old City. The officer was reported in moderate condition with a punctured lung after undergoing surgery to remove the knife.
