SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : 3 Schools Will Get New Principals
Three schools in the Capistrano Unified School District will have new principals for the 1990-91 school year, district officials have announced.
Richard Johnson, principal of Marco F. Forster Junior High School in San Juan Capistrano, will swap jobs with district Coordinator of Pupil Services Patricia Boettcher this fall, district spokeswoman Jacqueline Cerra said.
The move will be the first district-office post for Johnson, who has been principal of Castille and Viejo elementary schools. Boettcher’s new assignment is her first as a principal, Cerra said.
In another change, district Music Coordinator Austin Buffum will take over as principal of Ole Hanson Elementary School in San Clemente. Buffum will replace Nancy Smith, who is taking a leave of absence, Cerra said.
Suzette Lovely, who has been an assistant principal at Barcelona Hills and Castille elementary schools, will be the principal of Barcelona Hills. She takes over for Don McNeff, who is retiring, the district said.
