Castle & Cooke Inc.: The Los Angeles-based holding company for Dole Food Co. and Oceanic Properties Inc. posted record earnings for the second quarter of 1990. Net income was $38.9 million, up 11% over the same period of last year. Revenue was $792 million, up 14%. The company cited improvements in all units for the results.
