International Paper: The producer of paper and forest products posted a second-quarter profit of $185 million, down 19% from a year ago, on sales of $3.2 billion, up slightly from $3 billion. The Purchase, N.Y., company attributed the decline to weaker prices for uncoated printing and writing papers and container board.
