‘Wall’ of Sound: Sinead O’Connor, Van Morrison and Joni Mitchell will be among the artists participating in the performance of former Pink Floyd leader Roger Waters’ “The Wall” at the Berlin Wall July 21. The show will be staged on Potsdamerplatz in the shadow of the Brandenburg Gate between East and West Berlin. Other performers playing roles include Cyndi Lauper, Jerry Hall, Marianne Faithfull, Bryan Adams, Thomas Dolby, the Band, Albert Finney and Tim Curry. Waters has been rehearsing the score with the all-star Bleeding Heart Band for two months.
