Bond Measure to Upgrade 911 System Put on Ballot
The Los Angeles City Council’s Rules and Elections Committee approved placing a $235-million bond issue for upgrading police communications and the 911 emergency system on the November ballot. The measure will be voted on by the full council Tuesday.
