California IN BRIEF : SAN FRANCISCO : Mobile Home Fire Takes Life of Man

Firefighters were investigating the cause of a mobile home fire Saturday that apparently caused the death of a man living inside. The body of the man was found in his small mobile home in a parking lot in the city’s Tenderloin District after firefighters put out the blaze, a Fire Department spokesman said. The fire was reported about 6:30 a.m. The name of the man was withheld pending notification of relatives, according to the coroner’s office.
