NAMES IN THE NEWS : ‘Partridge’ Alumnus Sentenced

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —
Danny Bonaduce, the redheaded, freckle-faced kid on “The Partridge Family” 20 years ago, was sentenced to 15 months on probation for possession of crack cocaine in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Bonaduce, 30, pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of attempted purchase of a controlled substance as part of an arrangement with prosecutors. The judge also ordered him to undergo drug counseling, perform 75 hours of community service and pay $675 in court and prosecution charges. Bonaduce, whose record includes a 1985 arrest for possession of 50 grams of cocaine in California, was arrested in Florida March 9. At the time, he was working as a disc jockey at WEGX-FM in Philadelphia.
