Polaroid Corp.: The firm posted second-quarter earnings of $33 million, down 23%. Revenue totaled $476 million, a decline of 2%. The Cambridge, Mass.-based firm, which makes instant photography, videotape and electronic visual communication products, attributed the results to lower instant film shipments and higher levels of investment in marketing and in new-product development.
