CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : SACRAMENTO : 2 Share Lotto’s $30-Million Prize

Two ticket-holders--one from San Francisco and the other from Los Angeles--shared the $30,120,000 grand prize in the weekend “Lotto 6-53” drawing, according to state lottery officials. Cecelia Gaddini, 66, a retired city worker from the Bay Area, said she was “still in shock” and doesn’t know what she will do with 20 annual checks of $602,400 each, after taxes. The Los Angeles winner was not immediately identified. Fourteen tickets contained five of six winning numbers, plus the bonus number, each winning its owner $66,582, officials said.
