Placing Responsibility in the Judas Priest Shooting Case

Back in 1961, I purchased a record album by a teen idol of that time and played the record over and over in my upstairs bedroom while smoking filter cigarettes.

Well, now I realize that the lyrics I heard from that album caused me to get married and give birth to five children, which in turn has caused me much physical pain and mental anguish, not to mention hundreds of thousands of dollars. If I remember correctly, somewhere in those lyrics were the words “Do it.” So I did.

How can I possibly be responsible for my own actions after hearing Bobby’s voice in song? With recent revelations in the Judas Priest trial I have a very good case!
