International Business Machines has announced a realignment of responsibilities in its headquarters operations in Purchase, N.Y. Patrick A. Toole, senior vice president, was named to the new position of general manager, operations, for IBM United States. Paul R. Low, vice president, was named general manager, technology products. Ray S. AbuZayyad, vice president, will head a new storage systems products division.
