Ford Closes Brazil Plant: Ford Motor Co.’s Brazil subsidiary has closed its plant indefinitely for repairs after workers went on a rampage for the third time in less than a week. A Ford spokesman said the company did not know how long the repairs would take or how much they would cost. Workers on Thursday broke windows, cars and computer terminals and started a fire in the administration building at Ford’s plant in Sao Bernardo do Campo in Sao Paulo state. Miguel Jorge, vice president of corporate affairs, said workers threw Molotov cocktails. He estimated that 80% of the plant’s installations suffered some damage.
