2 Sentenced for Trading in Pentagon Documents
Two employees of major defense contractors are to serve six months in a halfway house and pay $5,000 fines for conspiring to trade in sensitive Pentagon reports on long-range weapons plans.
Frank J. Caso was a marketing analyst with Hughes Aircraft Co., and John R. Kiely was a marketing manager with Raytheon Co.
The sentencings in U.S. District Court on Friday closed out the criminal cases arising from Operation Undercover, a probe into the network of corporate workers who traded in secret Pentagon reports for more than a decade.
