Cessna Aircraft Co. has named Sembawang Aviation Ltd. of Singapore an authorized export sales representative for Citation business jets and Caravan turboprop aircraft.
The agreement covers China and most of Southeast Asia.
Sembawang will develop a new service facility to provide technical support for the fleet of Citations, Caravans and piston-powered Cessna aircraft operating in Southeast Asia.
Sembawang is jointly owned by Sembawang Shipyard Ltd. and United Sembawang Enterprises.
Cessna, based in Wichita, Kan., is a subsidiary of General Dynamics Corp.
