Teradata Corp.: The Los Angeles-based manufacturer of relational database computers reported that its annual income soared 89% to a record $18.8 million. Revenue jumped 63% to $224.2 million--also a record. The company said the results reflect continuing strong demand for its computers, which can be used to store and manipulate huge files of data.
