‘Trains’ Chugs Into the Old Globe: “Two Trains Running,” the fifth play in August Wilson’s ongoing cycle about black life in different decades of the 20th Century, will come to the San Diego Old Globe March 14. It will run through the end of April, according to Globe managing director Tom Hall. “Trains” will be mounted initially by director Lloyd Richards (who has staged all the previous Wilson plays) at Boston’s Huntington Theatre this fall. It will then travel to Seattle, Wilson’s newly adopted hometown, and will play the Seattle Repertory Theatre Jan. 2-26 before traveling south to San Diego. Watch for a possible L.A. outing as well.
