Clorox Co.: The Oakland-based bleach and detergent manufacturer said fourth-quarter net income rose 125% to $42.3 million, while revenue advanced 5% to $434.6 million. Full-year earnings rose to $153.6 million from $124.1 million. The firm noted that earnings for the year-ago quarter were depressed because of discontinued operations.
