Companies Recall Electrical Converters, Toys: The Consumer Product Safety Commission said about 12,000 power transformers were being recalled because of possible hazards. They were imported from Taiwan and bore the labels “Rocket,” “Seven Star,” “Saiko” or “Step Up/Step Down.” Four toys sold by House of Lloyd Inc. of Grandview, Mo., are being recalled because they present a choking hazard to young children. The toys, sold at home parties held by House of Lloyd salespeople, are the “Pull a Long Construction” train set; “Press N’ Go Choo Choo,” a plastic train, “June and Julie Musical Dolls” and “Motor Mouse.”
