Flamemaster Profits Rise in 3rd Quarter

Flamemaster Corp., a Sun Valley maker of coatings and sealants, said its fiscal third-quarter profit jumped sharply from a year earlier, to $283,660 from $83,631.

The increase in the quarter that ended June 30 came on a 33% gain in Flamemaster’s revenue, to $1.38 billion from $1.04 billion a year earlier.

For the first nine months of its fiscal year, Flamemaster earned $622,670 on revenue of $4.05 million. In the comparable year-earlier period, the company’s profit was $210,483 on revenue of $2.70 million.
