GUNNERS’ TOLL: Gun deaths were way up in Orange County last year--13% more than the previous year and 37% more than in 1982. . . . Most of the victims died at their own hand, suicides continuing to outnumber homicides. . . . Accidental gun deaths were almost as rare as freakish accidents, such as an electric wheelchair running into a concrete wall and a worker drowning in a drain pipe.
