J.P. Morgan & Co. has named Owen H. Harper managing director of Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., with the responsibility of developing client relationships for J. P. Morgan’s California private banking group. He will divide his time between Morgan’s Los Angeles and San Francisco private banking offices. Harper has worked for 30 years in the financial services industry. He was an executive vice president with Crocker National Bank and a member of its Management Committee from 1974 until that bank was acquired in 1986.
