ANAHEIM : Disneyland Area Guidelines OKd
After months of delay, recommendations from a $300,000 yearlong study of the Disneyland area are about to take effect and city planners hope the changes will improve the area’s appearance.
The City Council this week approved an ordinance that would change some zoning codes and establish new design guidelines for future development in the area.
The new city laws will take effect in 30 days, coinciding with the date that a building moratorium on the area expires. Whether or not the building freeze will be amended or extended has not yet been decided.
