Kennedy is en route tot he coast of Saudi Arabia to either relieve the Eisenhower battle group or to perform additional tasks that may occur by ongoing events. The additional carrier will be the fourth added in the Persian Gulf. The Kennedy will carry about 80 aircraft including fighter planes, attack planes, radar aircraft, (including F-117A, Stealth fighters) as well as anti-submarine and search-and-rescue helicopters. The hospital ship Comfort, which beds 1,000 is also en route, while the Trenton and Portland are picking up troops en route to their deployment. Source of map: CIA
