Spectrum Vehicle Auctions, an auto auction company in Moorpark, said its president, Holden Raphael, became the company’s third partner, and it appointed Nigel Thewlis as general manager.

Raphael joined Spectrum in 1985 and was named president a year later. Thewlis, formerly vice president, will be responsible for administration, contract negotiations and advertising.
