THE SIDELINES : Chiefs Sign Linebacker Snow

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
Linebacker Percy Snow, the first-round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs, agreed to contract terms today, the Chiefs said.
Snow, 22, signed a series of one-year contracts covering five years, said Carl Peterson, Chiefs’ general manager and president. No other terms were announced.
Snow was regarded as the top defensive player in college football as a senior last year at Michigan State. He won both the Lombardi Award, given to the top college lineman, and the Butkus Award, which goes to the top college linebacker.
He participated in his first training camp workout with the Chiefs this morning at William Jewell College in Liberty.
