Chevron Announces Reservist Pay Plan: The San Francisco-based oil company announced a compensation policy for employees called to active military duty due to the Persian Gulf crisis. The company said it would make up the difference between how much it ordinarily pays these employees and how much they are paid by the government for their military service.
