Deputy City Manager Named
Tony DeBellis, Inglewood planning manager for nine years, was named Tuesday as the city’s deputy city manager for community development and housing. He replaces Lewis Pond, who left the post in May to become city manager in San Bruno.
As planning manager, DeBellis prepared many sections of the city’s General Plan and served as principal staff adviser to city officials on land-use issues. In his new job, DeBellis will be responsible for the city’s programs in redevelopment, neighborhood preservation, and low-income and senior citizen housing.
