Irvine Valley College has received more than $124,000 in grants for a variety of business education programs, plus an IBM fellowship for the campus’s computer-integrated manufacturing program, college officials said.

The largest of the three grants from the California Community College chancellor’s office is $60,000 to help business faculty keep vocational programs current with changing technology and business practices.

“It will assist business educators from all areas, including office systems, marketing, management, real estate, business computer information management and accounting to constantly update the curriculum they teach,” said Irvine Valley College professor Joyce Arntson.
