Pepsi Pulls In Hammer: On the eve of MTV’s Music Video Awards, Pepsi-Cola announced that it had signed on popular rap artist MC Hammer, a.k.a. Stanley Kirk Burrell, will walk off with a handful of awards from tonight’s televised awards ceremony. Hammer and his 30 member troupe-which includes 10 back-up singers and 15 dancers-will be featured in a montage commercial that will be aired this evening.
