Mexicans Call on U.S., Others to Seek Peace

MEXICO CITY —
A joint congressional commission called unanimously for the United States and other countries not to aggravate the Persian Gulf conflict and to seek peace in the region, newspapers in the capital reported Thursday.
The commission includes representatives of both Mexico’s Senate and Chamber of Deputies.
