The “Challenge for Children” dinner and auction held at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel on Sept. 6 raised an estimated $100,000 for the Samaritan Medical Center of San Clemente, South County Community Clinic and the Padrinos of Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Brian McInerney was chairman.

The “Guys & Dolls Auction Gala” held at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel on Sept. 7 raised an estimated $60,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Max Hoskins was chairman.

The “Style, the Universal Language” fashion show held at Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa on Sept. 8 raised an estimated $5,000 for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, Orange County Chapter. John Greiner was chairman.
