* Jeffrey S. Kirschner has joined Burbank-based UniHealth America’s service management arm, Pacific Health Resources, as president and chief executive officer. UniHealth, a nonprofit concern, owns hospitals, health maintenance organizations and other medical facilities and services.
Kirschner formerly ran a company that provided business development and operations improvement programs for hospitals, physician groups and other companies doing business with hospitals. In his new post, he will oversee UniHealth hospital departments such as food services, plant operations and biomedical engineering.
