Zambia Police Break Up Refugee Protest; 4 Arrested

LUSAKA, Zambia —
Riot police dispersed an estimated 25,000 Mozambican refugees who were protesting food at their refugee camp, police said Monday.
Four people were arrested during the protest Friday at a camp near Petauke, 235 miles east of Lusaka. Police said the refugees, who allege that the camp’s Zairian fugitives receive better food, tried to ransack a food depot.
