Countrywide Credit Industries Inc.: The Pasadena-based mortgage lender said second-quarter net income rose 50% to $5.1 million, while revenue climbed 29% to $33.3 million. The firm said the gains were due to strong loan originations and a servicing portfolio that grew to $13.5 billion from $11.5 billion for the prior-year period.
