Thomas J. Usher has been named president of USX Corp.’s U.S. Steel division. Usher succeeds Thomas C. Graham. Graham has been named to the new post of vice chairman of the company’s Steel & Diversified Group. USX spokesman William Keslar said the change was “simply a matter of transition” because Graham, who joined USX in 1983, will retire in about a year.
