Glenhall Taylor Jr., vice chairman of BankAmerica Corp. and head of credit policy at Bank of America, has announced that he will retire at the end of the year. Executive Vice President Michael E. Rossi, 45, currently head of Bank of America’s commercial banking division, will succeed him as head of credit policy. Succeeding Rossi will be Jack Meyers, 47, an executive vice president with 25 years of banking experience who currently heads Credit Risk Management for the Commercial Banking Group. Taylor, 65, is a veteran of more than four decades of banking. He orchestrated the changes in credit policy that were instrumental in BankAmerica Corp.’s turnaround during the late 1980s.
