Pasadena : Business License Revisions

Business license tax revisions Tuesday by the Board of Directors will bring the city $530,980 annually in new revenue.

Property owners renting commercial or industrial space to others will pay fees of $100 on the first 1,000 square feet of space rented and $10 for each additional 1,000 square feet. Those occupying space in their own buildings will receive a 50% fee reduction.

In addition, the delinquent business license fee will increase and those who do not obtain business licenses will be fined.
