Conspiracy Theory in Black Community

Ridley-Thomas attempts to turn the fight that resulted in Amber Jefferson’s face being cut into a black versus white riot. This was not a racial attack; it was a fight over a boy. Apparently, Ridley-Thomas is not interested in truth and justice, only hype and hysteria. In his commentary, he paints a picture of blacks always being the victims of whites. One doesn’t have to think too hard to remember the Central Park jogger or the young man from Utah, who died defending his mother from muggers on a New York subway, to know that there is enough hatred to go around.
