WORLD : Man Pulls Gun at Bhutto Rally

GUJAR KHAN, Pakistan —
A young man pulled out a pistol within a few feet of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto at an election rally today but was pounced on by the crowd.
The incident occurred as Bhutto’s jeep inched through a big crowd at the end of a political rally.
Reporters with Bhutto, on her first campaign tour in Punjab province, said the man had been walking beside her jeep and was quickly overpowered and dragged to a police station.
