Western Digital Corp. has selected Ingram Micro D as the exclusive distributor of some of its computer graphics products.

Under the one-year agreement, Ingram Micro D of Santa Ana, a distributor of personal computer products, will distribute video board products supplied by Western Digital’s Paradise Systems subsidiary.

Roger W. Johnson, chief executive of Western Digital, said the company, which is based here, chose Ingram Micro D after an extensive review of its distribution strategy.

“We’re tickled to death to be able to distribute these products,” said David R. Dukes, Ingram Micro D’s president. “We think it will be one of our best-selling Western Digital product lines.”

Dukes declined to say how much revenue the deal will generate. Ingram Micro D reported sales of about $1 billion last year.
