Home on the Set: Some of Los Angeles’ homeless people have been recruited to work on a movie--about Los Angeles’ homeless people. Director Eames Demetrois is filming “Jeremiah Pollock: An American Saint,” a dark comedy about the homeless on the mean streets of the city. More than a third of the cast and crew of the independent movie were taken from lists of individuals provided by homeless support groups. The homeless workers are paid and housed during the filming, and will receive first and last month’s rent for an apartment as a bonus. Kevin Kildow stars as a computer whiz who uses his computer skills to help street people.
