From Times Staff and Wire Reports

A pro-Iraqi group in the former French colony of Djibouti claimed responsibility for a grenade attack last week against a cafe popular with French troops in which a boy died and 17 people were injured, officials said. A leaflet from the previously unknown group, the Movement for Djibouti Youth, was found in a taxi used in the attack on the crowded Cafe de Paris in the bustling port. Foreign Minister Roland Dumas had warned that France would retaliate if Iraq was linked to the incident.
